| ~~~ MIMOSA ~~~ |
In the middle of the 19th century the Mimosa was introduced in France, imported from Australia. Every winter, in January, February, the nature wakes up to tease the winter, the hills and gardens light up with gold and spread a pleasant perfume when the mimosa is blooming.
The Mimosa symbolises magnificence, elegance, simplicity, tenderness and friendship. In the dream world the flower is a sign of security. It also represents the female energy, hidden behind an apparent fragility. For this reason, since 1946, the Mimosa is the emblem of women’s day.
